Travel by local bus to one of Tromsø’s oldest and largest suburbs for housing cooperatives. This way of living has played an important part in the city’s growth and change for more than 50 years, as well as offering affordable and sustainable housing to a wide range of people who have made Tromsø their home.

We invite you first to explore the surroundings on an exciting activity ranging from a leisurely walk to exhilarating and fast-paced toboggining, depending on the conditions and your preference. We will also point out some of the landmarks of this colourful suburb.

It’s then time to head inside to warm up and dive into the heart of Norwegian culture by participating in a hands-on waffle-making session and settle down in the cosy atmosphere for freshly made waffles and homemade hot chocolate.

Dive into some fun indoor activities like board games, storytelling, craft, or simply engaging conversations.

Weather permitting, from September to April, our location provides a good place to spot the awe-inspiring Northern Lights, while in summer you can enjoy the golden rays of the Midnight Sun.
